Founder and retired Optometrist. Sally is still integral in the running and operation of the practice. She now invests more time with her numerous grandchildren and travels around the world accumulating scenic pictures.

Director at Nethercott Opticians and Principal Optometrist at Moorfields eye hospital, Alvin has experience in treating dry and watery eyes. Works in emergency eyecare, paediatrics, glaucoma, refractive surgery (Lasik and lens implants) and leads in medical contact lenses. College of Ophthalmology supervisor in glaucoma laser treatment.

Director, Dispensing and Contact lens Optician. Chris has a wealth of experience in the world of optics and spectacles. He works tirelessly to source and bring in an array of fashion frames. Chris keeps up to date to offer the patient's the latest in lens technology.

Melissa has been working with us since 2018 with a loyal patient base.
In 2021 she qualified as an Independent Prescriber and now manages patients for emergency eyecare as well as myopia management for children and dry eyes.
On her days off she enjoys spending time with her family and looking after her two young boys.

Sarah is our Optometrist on Wednesdays and really enjoys
being part of the team. She enjoys fitting contact lenses and
has a special interest in paediatrics. Sarah has completed her
Independent Prescriber qualification and is happy to advise on
all aspects of eyecare. When she is not here Sarah can be
found practising in Aviation Optometry where she has a lot of
experience managing pilots and air-traffic controllers.

Sarah is our dispenser on Mondays and every other Saturday, and is extremely competent and thorough in her work. She is a real team player, and when she isn’t dispensing, she is a whiz on reception and helps with any task with confidence and skill.

Tanya oversees the administration of the practice with great practicality. 

Karen is one of the longest standing members of the team and is a powerhouse on reception. She brings years of customer service and knowledge into running the practice, and no task is too big or small. Not only is she an integral part of the Nethercott family, but of the local community.

Cat joined the team in 2020 and passed her Optical Assistant course in 2021. Since then she has been trained in dispensing under Chris’ supervision, and is blossoming into her new role. When she’s not multi tasking between reception and dispensing, you can find her working on her creative window displays.
