Lorna MacKay-Elliott started working with her father Alex MacKay FSHAA in 1998. She qualified as a Hearing Therapist in 2001 and a Hearing Aid Audiologist in 2010. Alex MacKay was an Independent Hearing Aid Dispenser since 1987 and retired in 2013. Lorna continues to offer a comprehensive service including hearing tests, hearing advice and if appropriate an onward ENT referral if necessary.

As an independent practice, I select the most suitable hearing aids from the leading manufacturers, not tied to one make or brand. Giving me a wide range of prices to suit most pockets at competitive prices.

1. Your £40 hearing assessment includes an otoscopic examination of your ears, as well as a thorough hearing test and evaluation. We can decide whether your hearing needs assistance and, if it does, discuss the available options with you before deciding upon the most suitable hearing solution for your individual requirements.

2. I offer a free, no obligation, trial of hearing aids to ensure your satisfaction.

Once the hearing aids are fitted and programmed, I will ensure you know how possible results.

3. To ensure that you continue to get maximum benefit from your hearing aids, provide a complete aftercare service, which includes check-ups and reprogramming as required.

4. I can handle the servicing/repair of most makes of hearing aids, whether originally supplied by us or not. Carry out minor repairs or return the instrument to the manufacturer for repair.
